Neel Bahadur Shahi

Patron, Team Nepal

 

 

Mr. Neel Bahadur Shahi is the founder chairman of the organization. He has been continuously active since the establishment of the organization. While leading the organization, he has also been continuously active in other areas of education and children. He is currently active as the patron of this organization.

He was born in Ward No. 6 of Melamchi Municipality. He is also the former Chairman of the Management Committee of Terse Secondary School. He has been involved in various campaigns to help disadvantaged children living in rural areas and to help those affected by various natural disasters.

Dr. Babu Ram Dhungana

Chairperson, Team Nepal

Dr. Dhungana was born in Melamchi-6, Talamarang, in the Sindhupalchok district. He completed his high school education at Saraswoti Secondary School in Helambu-4. He earned his PhD in Inclusive Education from Changwon National University, South Korea, and holds a Master’s Degree from Mahidol National University, Thailand, as well as from Tribhuvan University in Nepal. With thirty years of work experience in public service under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology at the district, provincial, and federal levels, Dr. Dhungana has served in various roles including District Education Officer (DEO) in multiple districts, Director of the Education Development Directorate (EDD) in Gandaki province, Administrative Chief at the National Youth Council (NYC), Director at the Curriculum Development Center (CDC), and Director at the Centre for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD). He has also worked at the ministry level in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST). Dr. Dhungana is an expert in Inclusive/Special Needs Education, Innovation, Incubation, and Entrepreneurship, School Enterprise, as well as Program Monitoring and Evaluation. He has visited the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, China, Israel, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, India, and Bhutan. Dr. Dhungana has been honored with the ‘Education Award’ by the Ministry of Education for his outstanding contributions in the field. Additionally, he has been awarded the ‘Prawal Janasewa Padak’ by the Government of Nepal, a national-level award recognizing his excellent work in civil service.

Parbati Thapa

Vice Chairperson, Team Nepal

 

Mrs. Parbati Thapa is a permanent resident of Talamarang, Ward No. 6, Melamchi Municipality, Sindhupalchowk District. She is also a former people’s representative of the local government. She is also a farmer activist and women’s rights activist.
She has been an ordinary member of Team Nepal since the past and is currently active in the organization’s working committee as the vice-chairman of the working committee.

Krishna Dhungana

Secretary, Team Nepal

 

Mr. Krishna Dhungana was born in Melamchi Municipality Ward No. 6, Talamarang, Sindhupalchok, Nepal. He completed his school education from Shree Saraswati Secondary School, Gyalthum, Sindhupalchok. Similarly, he has a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in Education Planning and Management from Tribhuvan University of Nepal. He has been working as a Social Teacher at the school level since 2061 BS, while From 2074 to 2080 BS, he worked as a successful principal of Terse Secondary School, Melamchi 6, Sindhupalchok. He is the chairperson of Society of Technology Friendly Teacher’s Nepal, District Committee of Sindhupalchok. He is also interested in the field of information technology and is active in various studies, researches and projects for the improvement of school education. Before this, he has worked in the member of executive committee of TEAM Nepal. He is continuously active in the educational field with innovative works in information technology and educational activities.

Nawaraj Basnet

Treasurer, Team Nepal

 

Mr. Nawaraj Basnet is a permanent resident of Talamarang, Ward No. 6, Melamchi Municipality, Sindhupalchowk District. He is a farmer activist. He is working to make farmers’ rights and state support in agriculture effective. He is currently affiliated with the National Farmers’ Group Federation. He has been an ordinary member of Team Nepal since the past, but is currently active in the organization’s working committee as the treasurer.

 

 

 

Dil Bahadur Thapa

Board Member, Team Nepal

Mr. Dil Bahadur Thapa is a permanent resident of Melamchi Municipality 6, Talamarang. He is an active health worker. He has been providing health services to the community for the past 25 years. Apart from this, he is also continuously active in the field of community education and child rights.
He has been active in Team Nepal as an ordinary member since the past and is currently active as a working committee member.

 

 

 

 

 

Sujan Tamang

Board Member, Team Nepal

 

Mr. Sujan Tamang is a permanent resident of Melamchi Municipality 6, Talamarang. He is also the former chairman of the school management committee of Batase Secondary School. He is also equally active in the tourism sector. He is associated with various organizations and is working to increase access to education, especially for children in the rural areaa. Apart from this, he is also continuously active in the field of community education and child rights.
He has been active in Team Nepal as an ordinary member since the past and is currently active as a working committee member.

 

 

 

Sunita Deuja

Board Member, Team Nepal

 

Mrs. Sunita Deuja is a permanent resident of Melamchi Municipality 6, Talamarang. She is also active in the society for women’s rights and women’s upliftment. She is participating in community development by leading the Terse Community Agricultural Cooperative. She is associated with various organizations, especially working to increase access to education for children in the Dargam area. Apart from this, she is also continuously active in the field of community education and children’s rights.
She has been active in Team Nepal as an ordinary member since the past and is currently active as a working committee member.
